Welcome to Seven Hills Roller Derby!!
We are Richmond, Virginia's ONLY co-ed roller derby team and the home of VA's Renegade Rules roller derby coalition. We aim to keep roller derby co-ed, fast and fun! If you want to play roller derby in Richmond, you've come to the right place.
MISSION AND VISION
Seven Hills Roller Derby is Richmond’s only co-ed roller derby team. The team is skater-owned and operated, and runs solely through the donated time and effort of its skaters and volunteers.
Co-ed Roller Derby brings a new and exciting level of competitive, fast-paced gameplay to an already popular sport, while embracing the inclusivity of the sport at its inception.
Seven Hills Roller Derby is dedicated to promoting diversity, respect, and perseverance through athleticism and competition, while creating an entertaining and engaging fan experience.
We strive to improve our local community through fundraising and volunteer efforts.

HOW WE BEGAN
In late 2011, our founding members found themselves skating for a team whose owners no longer wanted to be in the roller derby business. The players were not, however, ready to stop skating. So after a few months of prep work, Seven Hills Roller Derby was founded by those orphaned players and is now proudly skater owned and operated!
We successfully completed our inaugural year in 2012 and are looking forward to expanding and improving, volunteering more, and helping to grow co-ed roller derby in Central VA.
